The Golden Age
The 18-hole "Black Creek" course at the Black Creek Club facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee features 7,204 yards of golf with breathtaking scenery of the surrounding mountains. The course has received rave reviews as one of the first modern golf designs to present the shot values made famous in the classic courses of the “Golden Age of Golf Course Architecture” to the modern player.
Designed by Golf World’s Architect of the Year, Brian Silva, Black Creek is a nationally recognized, championship golf course and club located just six miles from downtown Chattanooga. The private Club offers scenic, panoramic views of the surrounding mountains centered around Black Creek which meanders its way through the golf course.
Top 100 in America
Black Creek was ranked among the Top 100 Modern Golf Courses by Golfweek magazine shortly after its debut and continues to be ranked among the Top 100 Residential Courses, the only course in Tennessee to be included on that list. With a stunning clubhouse, two pools, tennis courts, a fitness center, and first tier bar and restaurant, the Golf Club serves as the Social and Amenity center of the community.
A Course for Everyone
While 1999 Golf World Architect of the Year, Brian Silva, has designed golf courses throughout the country, he chose Black Creek Club to be his first original project in the Southeast. Mr. Silva thoughtfully designed Black Creek’s multiple tee placements.
In doing so, he created a golfing experience that challenges the low-handicapper while ensuring an enjoyable time for players at every level of experience. With five sets of markers that start at just over 5000 yards and stretching to the championship length of over 7000 yards, Black Creek Club offers golf at its best to players of all abilities.
